Our Mission
We the affiliates of the Tracy High-school
Chess Club, in desire to enable a suitable online location for local chess, to benefit students in terms of sportsmanship,
concentration, critical thinking, planning, logic, to encourage the six pillars of character amongst students, to promote
further interest in chess, do hereby establish the Tracy High Chess website.
Our Club
Founded in the fall of 2004, our club is a new addition to the myriad of others at Tracy High. Our members have already
won numerous awards, including first place at the Freiler Regional Scholastic Tournament over West High. In addition, we will
partake in the September regional tournament and will likely participate in the Northern California Tournament to be held
in December this year at Stockton. Every member is important to us. Join, and become part of the winning team in Tracy!
